Government Websites
FTC.gov
FTC.gov, particularly consumer.ftc.gov/scams, is an excellent resource for information on common scams. This page stays up to date with some of the most common and prevalent scams, and what to look out for in order to identify, avoid, and report them.

IC3.gov
IC3, or the Internet Crime Complaint Center, is a department of the FBI dedicated to investigating internet crimes. Their website www.ic3.gov is kept up to date with information on current most common scams.
They also have a reporting tool at www.ic3.gov/Home/FileComplaint (terms and conditions/privacy policy) or complaint.ic3.gov (reporting tool).
USA.gov
USA.gov also has a page dedicated to providing the public with information on scams, fraud, and general online safety tips.

Learn About Scams
That’s right! LearnAboutScams.org has a dedicated YouTube channel. As of right now, the channel only has one video live, but there are many more planned for the future that will dive into detail on specific types of scams.

Kitboga is a YouTube content creator and Twitch streamer who specializes in “scambaiting” where they pretend fall for phone scams and waste scammers’ time. The videos on this channel shed light on some of the most common phone scams and allow viewers to see them in action.

Jim Browning
Jim Browning is another YouTube content creator who specializes in “scambaiting” and exposing scammers. Many of their videos contain actual CCTV footage from scam call centers as they attempt to take down scam operations and waste time that would have been spent defrauding innocent victims.

Trilogy Media
Ashton Bingham and Art Kulik dedicate their videos and their YouTube channel to exposing scammers and spreading awareness about scams. Their content is both entertaining and absolutely jam-packed with material to educate viewers on the dangers of scams.

Mark Rober
While the bulk of Mark Rober’s content has nothing to do with scams, they did a collaboration in early 2022 with Jim Browning and Trilogy Media to try to take down multiple massive scam operations in eastern India. This video provides a wealth of information on some of the biggest scam agencies in the world and how they operate.
